Like you, we’ve been preparing for next school year for months now! We’re excited to share the instructional resources that will be available for your special educators for School Year 25-26.
Equip your special educators with tools to reach more students, including students with moderate to severe disabilities whose families speak Spanish in the home setting. With instructional materials in both English and Spanish, educators can:
All adapted library books in enCORE Elementary will be available in Spanish in several formats, including hard copy, printable PDF, e-Readers, and book read-aloud videos. Each literature book will have multiple corresponding worksheets in Spanish, including vocabulary flashcards and leveled comprehension worksheets.
Spanish samples are available now to all current enCORE users – check out Unit 1 (Gr K – 2) and Unit 20 (Gr 3 – 5). The Spanish resources in enCORE will be available for customers with the enCORE Advance Package for the start of SY 25-26.
Build students’ reading fluency with brand new decodable readers! Included in enCORE Elementary, there will be 6 decodable readers per unit (or, 3 per lesson plan) for units 4 – 36. Each new decodable reader will include an accompanying:
✔ Vocabulary support worksheet
✔ Sight word practice
✔ Comprehension check
The decodable readers are releasing to the enCORE Elementary platform in phases, with the first phase being available for Back to School ‘25.
Decodable readers support fluency, one of the key components of the Science of Reading, and student engagement by reinforcing phonics knowledge and sight words that students have already learned. Decodable readers often begin with simpler phonics patterns, like CVC words, and gradually progress to more complex skills. Students will experience greater confidence because they will have already learned all decoding skills and/or sight words found within the book. Result? Fluency, confidence, and engagement increase!
Progress monitoring just got a lot easier! TeachTown Benchmark Assessments for Middle and High School are launching September 2025! With over 270 total assessments for K-12, educators in elementary, middle, and high school have access to Benchmark Assessments to track student progress on individual skills over time.
With a brand new scanning technology that is native to the TeachTown platform, enCORE will be accessible to any single-switch device on any operating system. Whether your students use Buddy Buttons or Blue2 or any other device, we’ve got you covered!
