TeachTown, a leading provider of special education curriculum for students with moderate to severe disabilities, is pleased to announce its designation as an official contractor of Cooperative Procurement Plus (CoPro+), a Michigan-based purchasing consortium program that was designed to make procurement easier for public-sector agencies. As a result of a successful competitive bid, schools in Michigan are now eligible to purchase TeachTown’s PreK-12+ curricula with incentivized pricing through the CoPro+ program without the need for a separate RFP process.
Richard Becker, CEO, TeachTown shares, “We are thrilled that school districts throughout Michigan now have streamlined, cost-effective access to our comprehensive curricula and learning interventions for students with disabilities through CoPro+.” He adds, “This partnership is a significant step forward in helping Michigan schools serve students with personalized learning needs, build a solid foundation for academic and personal success, and support the educators who serve them.”
TeachTown’s suite of solutions, including its K-12 standards-first, adapted core curriculum, enCORE, is designed to provide students with access to the general education curriculum and the individualized interventions that support student success. To further support teacher satisfaction and outcomes for students with disabilities, TeachTown also offers various professional development options, including on-site and virtual training and coaching, as well as asynchronous support.
Tamaran Dillard, Executive Director of Student Services, Redford Union School District, shares, “TeachTown has been an instrumental learning platform for our students with unique learning abilities.” She continues, “It provides a comprehensive and predictable landscape for students to grow at their own pace, while providing challenging opportunities for success by way of a common core aligned, streamlined curriculum. Our staff confidently utilize TeachTown, and it has reduced the stress of independently pulling curriculum together and allows for an enhancement in their own creativity as teachers!”
“At CoPro+, we are proud to welcome TeachTown into our cooperative procurement program,” states Shawn Vaughn, Executive Director, CoPro+. “This partnership reflects our commitment to delivering public sector excellence through trusted, competitively awarded solutions. We look forward to working together to serve our members and communities more effectively.”
