February 6, 2026 – Everway, a creator of innovative technology to help individuals with varied needs thrive from K-12 classrooms to the workplace, today announced that it has reached an agreement to combine with TeachTown, a provider of special education solutions for students with moderate to severe learning needs.
Together, Everway and TeachTown will offer a more comprehensive suite of high-quality, adaptable instructional resources, print products, accessibility tools, and administrative software that will meet students wherever they are in their learning journeys and give teachers more choice and control over the tools they use.
Everway and TeachTown will bring together complementary products and services. This means that Everway will be able to offer educators a combined content library and a broader range of tools on a single, unified platform – making teaching and compliance processes easier and improving communication between teachers and parents.
Students will gain access to improved, personalized products and materials that are better integrated to serve their individual needs. Teachers will get more actionable insights, easier-to-use materials, and consistent support, making it simpler to deliver high-quality instruction and facilitate meaningful progress toward students’ learning goals. Schools and their special education administrators will be able to empower their teachers with more options and insights, as well as have access to tools to help them remain compliant with standards and regulations. Parents will benefit from both companies’ commitment to improving parental communication tools.
“Combining Everway and TeachTown is an important milestone in our mission to unlock potential so everyone can achieve more at school, at work, and in life,” said Martin McKay, CEO of Everway. “Together as Everway, we’ll be able to deliver a comprehensive, simpler, integrated solution for special education teams so they can focus on helping every learner understand and be understood. We are excited to reach more students, support more educators, help educators better engage with parents, and create a more inclusive experience where every student has the tools they need to thrive.”
“This is an important and exciting step for TeachTown,” said Richard Becker, CEO of TeachTown. “Since 2003, we have remained dedicated to providing special educators with high-quality curricula and learning interventions that boost academic and personal outcomes for our learners. Everway shares our commitment to continued success for students with complex learning needs and the educators who serve them. Together, we can be a stronger force for good, uniting our capabilities to better support special educators and help more students succeed.”
Everway and TeachTown will remain independent until the deal closes. Everway and TeachTown will continue to keep customers and partners informed as the process progresses.
