Previewing enCORE Elementary V2: Your Summer 2026 Refresh Guide
As you begin your planning for the upcoming school year, we want to share some exciting upgrades coming to enCORE Elementary. This summer, we are rolling out the enCORE Elementary V2 Web Files Refresh, a comprehensive update designed to optimize your daily workflows without changing the core instructional practices you rely on.
Why the update?
In educational publishing, a 5-7 year cycle is the industry standard for curriculum updates. It represents the natural evolution of a program, taking years of real-world classroom data and refining the experience. Most importantly, we listen to our customers. This refresh is built upon your feedback. We have thoroughly reviewed our curriculum to address concerns and suggestions brought to our attention.
What You’ll See for Back to School (Digital First)
To ensure you have everything you need for immediate school-year planning, all V2 updates will launch exclusively on the live website as downloadable PDFs and eReaders by the July 30, 2026 publish date.
If your classroom utilizes physical print materials, please note that our beautifully reimagined physical print goods, including the newly structured Student Workbooks and Math Classroom Resource books as well as the updated Teacher Guides and Adapted Library books, will transition later in the fall. We will share precise shipping and availability timelines for physical print shipments as soon as details are finalized.
What’s Changing in the Refreshed Layout?
Improved Lesson Consistency: We have standardized lesson structures across all domains. You’ll notice streamlined Materials lists (no more duplicate entries) and standardized terms: Introduce is now Intro, Lead is now Guided Practice, and Test is now Independent Practice.
Accessibility & Style Upgrades: Enjoy cleaner visuals, modern styling, a fresh TeachTown logo, and redesigned Adapted Library covers featuring new story summaries on the back. The interior text and images have also been refreshed with a more modern look and feel.
Newly Organized Student Workbooks: Instead of bundling all subjects into a single 3-unit Student Workbook, the Student Workbooks are now separated by academic domain and contain 6 units of instruction per volume. While we have eliminated repetitive math layouts by moving them into two brand-new, physical Math Classroom Resource Workbooks (K-2 and 3-5), our Student Workbooks are packed with more valuable content than ever! We’ve added highly requested resources directly into the student workbook pages, including ELA decodable reader worksheets, Math review sheets, and Science/Social Studies supplemental worksheets and newsletters.
Smart Appendix & Online Resources: Student Workbooks will feature worksheets across all four domains, with non-math resource materials (like graphic organizers or Yes/No cards) housed cleanly in an appendix at the back of the book. Furthermore, every single classroom resource will live on our website under the Resources tab, joined by helpful extras like token boards, data sheets, and schedule cards to support your overall instruction.
Organized Print Material: Workbooks and Teacher Guides are now cleanly separated by domain and grouped into 6-unit volumes rather than 3, making physical tracking easier.
When Is It Happening?
We are updating web files in phases throughout the summer so you can preview materials as they become available:
Late July: Daily Implementation Guides (DIGs), eReaders, and PDF Bundles
All updated files will be completely finalized in the live platform by July 30, 2026.
The updated print materials, including the Student Workbooks and Math Classroom Resource books along with the updated Teacher Guides and Adapted Library books, will be available for shipping in the fall.
Stay tuned right here as we track the weekly rollouts, starting with Lesson Plans the week of June 22nd!
