School-based SLPs are challenged with high caseloads and significant documentation requirements. As a result, students primarily receive group speech and language intervention, typically for an hour or less per week.
SLP Assist provides technology-driven lessons for students and a dashboard for SLPs to increase efficiency.
Student lessons include a concept instruction video prior to each lesson. The program automatically adjusts difficulty based on student responses, and automatically progresses when mastery is met.
The Therapist Dashboard allows SLPs to deliver lessons to students within a group setting using technology with built-in data collection. Program also has the capability to record, playback, and save student responses. All data can be tracked and reported at the IEP goal level.

Supporting continuity and intensity of treatment/instruction, TeachTown’s programs keep the teacher in control of what the student is doing – even if being used remotely or in a distance-learning setting.
Progress Monitoring
With unparalleled data collection and reporting, data from student lessons are automatically captured and tracked. The built in data collection tools provided during therapy sessions also allows for effortless capture and automatic storage and reporting. Progress report graphs are available at the IEP goal and skill level for each student.
Therapist Lessons
SLP Assist provides a variety of language, articulation, and literacy lessons that can be used to address students' IEP goals. SLPs present the lessons via technology and utilize the built in data collection tools while delivering therapy. Program seamlessly switches to the next student once a lesson is completed. Current session data can quickly be viewed from the pop out window, as well as the data from the most recent session.
Student Lessons
SLP Assist provides computer lessons assigned by their SLP that students can access independently at home or in the classroom- increasing the amount of time that students are targeting their IEP goals. The computer-based lessons feature automatic prompting and reinforcement. The student’s data are automatically collected as they access these lessons for progress monitoring. The student’s computer-based lessons are easily linked to their IEP goals, enabling automatic reporting of their progress and time on task directly against their IEP goals. This data is also integrated with the data collected in their therapy sessions.
